We build it, then hand you the keys.

Axionalytics is a small engineering firm based in the Quad Cities, Iowa. We are not a consultancy that produces recommendations, and we are not a software vendor that rents you access to a black box. We build production agentic AI systems for Fortune 500 organizations and then transfer them — source, infrastructure, decision records, and tests — to the team that will run them.

Where we sit

Between the deck and the black box.

Enterprise AI has two established options, and both leave you holding something you did not want.

OPTION A

The large consultancy

Two partners scope the work, then a pyramid of junior staff learns your domain on your budget. You get a strategy document, a proof of concept that will not survive contact with your security team, and a proposal for phase two.

OPTION B

The platform vendor

A capable product, hosted on their infrastructure, priced per seat forever. Your data crosses the perimeter, your roadmap depends on theirs, and the integration you need is on a roadmap slide from last year.

WHAT WE DO

Build, harden, transfer

Senior engineers only, starting from platforms we have already shipped. Six to twelve weeks to production inside your perimeter, then full source transfer and enablement. If we disappeared the following Monday, the system would keep running and your team could extend it.

How we work

Five positions we do not negotiate.

These have cost us work. We keep them because the projects they cost us are the projects that would have failed.

01

Security comes first, not last

We meet your security architects in week one, before there is code to defend. Deployment topology, data residency, identity, egress policy, and audit requirements get settled while they are still cheap to change. Deferring that conversation is the single most common reason enterprise AI projects miss their date, and we will not structure an engagement that way even when asked to.

02

Your data, or we are guessing

Synthetic data hides every problem that matters — the column that is null 40% of the time, the naming convention that changed in 2019, the three date fields with different meanings. We build against your real schemas and your real document corpus from the first sprint, inside your environment.

03

A human approves every write

Not as a configurable default — as an architectural property. Reads run freely; writes stop at a gate with a blast-radius diff and an approval pinned to a version token. We have been asked to remove it to improve throughput. We have declined, because a system that writes to a system of record unattended is one nobody will defend after the first incident.

04

Tests are the deliverable, not the overhead

The platforms behind our solutions carry over 2,600 automated tests between them, and they run at zero inference cost so your CI can execute the full suite on every commit. A system your team is afraid to change is a system that is already dead; the test suite is what makes it safe to touch after we leave.

05

We say no to work we would do badly

A small firm cannot absorb a bad engagement, which turns out to be an advantage for the client. If your problem is outside what we do well, or the constraints make the outcome unlikely, we will tell you in the first conversation rather than in month three. That has cost us revenue and it has never cost us a reference.

Disqualifiers

When we are the wrong call.

Read this before booking. It will save us both a call.

You need staff augmentation. We do not place engineers into your org chart by the month. We deliver a system against a defined outcome and then leave.

You want a demo for a board meeting. Something impressive in three weeks that nobody intends to operate is a different craft, and other firms are better at it.

The agent must write unattended. If the requirement is autonomous action on a system of record with no human gate, we are not the right firm and we will say so immediately.

Nobody internal will own it. Transfer is the last phase of every engagement. If there is no team to receive the system, it will decay, and the engagement will have been a waste of your budget.

Quad Cities, Iowa

We work remotely with engineering organizations wherever they are, on their infrastructure and inside their review process. Time zone overlap with North America and Latin America is the practical part; the rest is video calls and their repository.

English and Spanish

We work in both, including technical review sessions and written architecture documentation. For organizations with engineering or shared-services teams across the Americas, that removes a translation layer from the delivery.

Deliberately small

We take on few engagements at a time. That is a real constraint on how fast we can start, and it is the reason the people in your briefing are the people who write the code.

Forty-five minutes with the engineers who would do the work. Bring the constraint that has been blocking you.
